Primary School Activities
Four
pupils from Miss Allen's class took part in a science activity day at the
Priory Campus recently and on Tuesday, Mr Damforth escorted twelve
children to the Metredome to take part in Science, engineering and
technology in sport activities as part of National Science week 2001. On
Friday 20 March, Miss Allen's class will visit the Mexborough and Swinton
Observatory at Hoober, near Wentworth.
Spiritualist
There
will be healing in the sanctuary on Friday night at 6pm till 6.45 followed
by an open circle at 7pm. Mary McCabe from Doncaster will take the Sunday
service at 6pm till 7-15pm.
Fellowship
Mr F Race
will be guest speaker at the Women's fellowship meeting at 2pm today
(Wednesday). Margaret Watson will be pianist
Coppins
An open
day will be held today at the Coppins residential home. 2.30 till 5.30pm.
A Social evening is planned for the 20 April where artiste Adam Stark will
entertain the residents and friends at 5pm. Refreshments will be provided
and everyone is invited. Tickets are £1 and details can be obtained from

Weight Watchers
At the
weekly meeting in the Methodist Church hall, the members of the weight
watchers lost a total of 33.5 pounds.
