Christmas
Fair
The Friends of St Paul's Brierley are holding a Christmas Fair at St
Paul's Church, Brierley, on Saturday 1 December between 4 and 8pm.
The church will house up to 20 stalls ranging from top quality gifts,
cards, jewellery and toys, together with cakes, food and tombola.
The Christmas Draw will also take place with over £500 worth of
prizes, including a top prize of £300 cash! Draw Tickets are 50p each,
with all proceeds going to help the restoration of the Church Tower. There
will be a Free Concert at the Church, starting at 8.00pm.
There are still a few stalls left. at a cost of £5 per stall. If you wish

The Friends of St Paul's Brierley is a local community group, which was
set up to raise funds for the restoration of the Church Clock and Tower,
and to ensure that St Paul's remains as a living focal point of the
community and heritage in Brierley Village for future generations. The
group have so far raised £5,000 in it's target of £30,000 needed to match
the funding of English Heritage, who have offered an initial grant of
£89,000 towards the total cost of £119,000 for Phase 1 of the work, which
is due to begin in January 2008
