Line Dancing
Line dancing will
take place every Monday and Friday in the Methodist Church Hall at 7pm.
Entry is £2.50.
Grange House
At the
Grange house social evening on Thursday, Doreen Burton won the raffle
while Violet Gash won on Friday. Doreen Bradbury won on Monday.
Spiritualist Church
There will be a clairvoyance service on Friday night with Norrie Milnes
from Rotherham taking the service. The service on Sunday evening from 6
till 7 twill be taken by Sandy Lee from Huddersfield. On Wednesday there
will be an Evening of Clairvoyance with Peter Parker an International
medium. Tickets are priced at £3.50 and are available from the church.
All proceeds towards Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. Refreshments will
be served afterwards.
Methodist
Church
Mr W Ashton
will lead a Family parade and service on Sunday at 10.15am while Mr R F
Smith will take the evening service at 6. The welcoming stewards this
week will be Jean in the morning and Norma in the evening. Phyllis will
provide this weeks flowers.
Pop In
The next Pop in morning at the Methodist church will take place on
Thursday 20 September from 9.15 am till 11.15. Everyone is invited to
pop in for tea, coffee and biscuits and a chat. Proceeds are towards
church funds.
