Seated right front row is Sister Jewitt and behind her is Mrs Emmy Gardner the hospital cook. The gent with the glasses on the back row is Mr Robinson the hospitals secretary. Nurse May Lycett (who later that year married Arthur Brown on 14^th October) is stood in front of the Lodge where visitors had to wait for medical reports etc on their families.
