Thanks to Brian Bower who has recognised himself as the 2nd boy left sitting, and has pointed out that the girl in the middle is Norma Harding and not Hilary Howton as first thought.

 

Further information from  Ronnie Bastier now living in Langkawi in the Andaman sea, Malaysia. I am pretty sure that I am the one in the centre of the back row with the sleeveless jumper and tie.  I would be eight going on nine then.
