Black pudding eating contest Three Horse Shoes 

 

Town Council Mayor Bill Grindrod joins in the contest for charity. On the left is councillor Alex Vodden and in the centre at the back with the moustache is Clive Dye. The lady sat down laughing is Hilda Talbot who is now in her 90's. The woman with the blonde perm is Christine Clark. 

Thanks to Tony Whitelam who as named the two ladies at either side of Clive Dye as Diane & Molly Garner.  Diane is on the left.

Thanks to Paul Vodden for the following information. The event followed a   "Dwile Flonking " competition between the Three Horse Shoes and the Manor from Grimethorpe.
