The event was opened by Jeff Ennis MP (see photograph Social 132) and was held in the garden of the Tara offices at 10 Hillside Crescent Brierley. The young man playing the guitar is Paul Brown from the band Fruntslide.

Jason Fraser

Jason is seen here singing in Brierley Social club. He was much sought after as a solo artist , but later (2005) he joined the well known band Soul Story. Jason was originally from Kendray but came to live at Hillside with his girlfriend Natalie Birks

Harvest Festival Brierley Social Club

Chris Sykes organised this event every year to raise funds for local charities. This year it was in aid of Grimethorpe St John Ambulance.
