The Chancel South Wall East

Like the previous stained glass windows this one too is divided into three lights and is dedicated as follows “To the glory of God and to the memory of the reverend J H Littlewood vicar of Felkirk from 1879 to 1902. This window is placed here by 410 subscribers March 1903”. The left hand light depicts Jesus as the good shepherd carrying a young Lamb while an older one stands near. The central light shows Jesus has the word made flesh carrying the word of God enshrined in the pages of the bible. The right hand light shows Jesus as the Light of the World and is inspired by Holman Hunt’s painting in Keble College Oxford.
